After
School Program)
An after-school ministry program for students Kindergarten through 5th
grades, Monday through Friday, whenever public school is in session.
Hours are 2:00pm to 5:30pm. Bible lessons, arts & crafts,
field trips, Children's Choir, & Acolytes are among the
activities at CEM.

Children's Choir (See Music
Ministry)
Musical
program for children Kindergarten through 5th grades, Wednesdays, 3:00pm to
4:00pm (only during the school year). Children sing typically the last Sunday of the month at the
11:00am service.

Children's Library
A large
selection of age appropriate books await children 5th grade and below, and
their parents. Something new is always coming in. You may check out books
at any time the church is open. Visit us in the Children's Lobby.

Clap, Tap & Jingle
A
music time for preschoolers where youngsters, accompanied by a parent,
have the opportunity to be exposed to, experience, and enjoy music.
Class consists of music fun followed by a snack. CTJ meets on Monday
and Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00am, September through May.

Easter Egg-sperience
A
fun-filled event that focuses on the reason we celebrate Easter:
Jesus' Resurrection. Usually held
on Holy Saturday (the day before Easter), 9:00am to 11:00am, we
have games, candy, crafts, small parade, and a HUGE Easter egg hunt! For 5th graders and under. Bring your scooter,
tricycle, wagon, bike, or whatever for the parade. Check the Calendar

| Nursery
Available for
infants through age 4, Sundays, 8:00am to 12:15pm. If parents prefer to
keep small children with them during worship, the Sound of Joy room is
available at the NW corner of the Sanctuary. The Nursery is also available
during special occasions. Contact the Children's
Ministry Director for more information (941-625-4356).

| Preschool
Enrollment options for three-year-olds is two (T/Th),
three (M/W/F),
or five
days.
Four-year-olds
enrolled in the Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) class must attend five
days. Classes have a ratio of
one teacher for every ten students. Contact the Preschool
Director for more information (941-625-4356). Gold Seal Member of United
Methodist Association of Preschools and licensed by the Florida Department
of Children & Families.

| Summer Reading Program
This fun
program is for 5th graders and below. Prizes awarded when reading goal is
reached. Tutors are available. Story time and craft time is also part of
the program. 10:0am to 11:30am, Wednesdays, June and July.

| Trunk or Treat
A
family event with a "trick or treat" twist. As a Halloween
alternative, adults park their vehicles in the church parking lot,
decorate their vehicle trunks, and fill them with candy for the
children. The night is filled with food, games, and fun. Check the Calendar

| Vacation Bible School
VBS
is a week-long event between 9:00am and 12:00pm during the summer.

games, crafts, and snacks that center around the Bible lesson for that
