Bible Discovery
* Meeting
Place: Pastor 's Office
* They do a wide variety of topical and textual studies, using the Bible
as their textbook.
The class searches for the Bible writers' intended meanings, using a
variety of translations and the original languages. Sometimes they get
surprised, but they always have fun. They let the Bible say what it says,
and they seek out the plainly spoken (but sometimes undiscerned) things
that God says to us through the Holy Scriptures.

| Becomers
* Meeting
Place: Fellowship Hall 2 (FH2)
* Their namesake comes from Keith Miller’s book, The
Becomers. They study
from various contemporary Christian books and welcome adults of all ages.
|
| Meth-O-Mates
* Meeting Place: Fellowship Hall 3 (FH3)
* Their study is lead by one of various teachers with input from any class
member wishing to speak. They enjoy sharing the reading of the different
interpretations of the Holy Scriptures. They meet every other month at
church for an evening Pot Luck Social with sharing of food, fun and
prayers.

| Sowers
* Meeting Place: New Room
* They are a discussion-based class with the Bible as their primary resource.
|
|
Wesley Fellowship
* Meeting Place: Fellowship Hall 4 (FH4)
* The Wesley Fellowship Class was one of the first Sunday School classes
started at PCUMC. Its members were, and continue to be, made up of persons
with a strong belief in Jesus Christ. The class studies are taken from the
International Lesson Series, which explores the books of the Old and New
Testaments.
* The class makes contributions to several mission fields: Sun
Valley Navajo Indian School in Arizona & the Charlotte County Homeless
Coalition—which is an outreach program to the needy in our own community—
are only two of their extra-mile giving concerns.
