There are many ways for our Youth to get involved with our church and community.

Puppet Team "Alive"

Our church's Puppet Team meet on Sunday evenings to rehearse for performances held throughout the year for various groups in the church and community.  "Alive" is a very select group and enrollment is limited.  If this ministry interests you, contact one of the puppet team members and they can inform you on how you may get involved.

Youth Leadership Team (YLT)

YLT is a group of nine youth who are committed to the Youth Ministry to plan, organize and help implement programs, activities, and trips.  These Youth promise to set a Christian example at all times to those they come into contact with.  If you are interested in being a part of this team, please see one of the team members for information.

Youth Ministry Team (YMT)

This one is for the adults. A group of dedicated adults come together the second Tuesday of each month to help plan, design and implement activities and programs for the Youth. Each member is dedicated to enhancing the spiritual, physical and emotional well-being of the Youth in our church and community.

Service Projects

  • S.H.A.R.E.
    • This is an opportunity for you to help your church family and community. We need a couple of Youth to help unload the trailer around 8:00am once a month and about four youth to help carry out the groceries from 9:00 to 10:30am for those who need help.  There is a sign-up sheet available in B.O.B.  Pass the word to Mom and Dad that the food is good and it amounts to about a 50% savings.  If you want to go a step further to help, you could volunteer your time and purchase a SHARE package to donate it to a needy family.  Lot's of ways to help through the SHARE program.
  • Together In Christ

    • This "backyard missions program" helps anyone in our congregation or community who may need a little help with that yard work during the summer while school's out.  Give the Youth Director a call for more info or if you wish some help!

UMM Pancake Breakfast

Sponsored by the United Methodist Men, the Pancake Breakfast is held the first Saturday of the month from September to May. The Men have asked the Youth to help out when they can, especially in September, October, April and May.  Many of their helpers either haven't returned for the winter months or have left for the summer.  There is a sign-up sheet at B.O.B. a couple of weeks before each breakfast.  If helping the UMM's group and serving members of the congregation and community is what God is calling you to do, please sign up when the appeal is made for volunteers!!  Whether you help or not is up to you, but don't miss out on the delicious pancakes and fellowship!
